Select

Three live-edge slabs of Florida red cedar, chosen for their figure and laid out as one top.

Burn

High voltage across the surface draws the Lichtenberg figures. The current chooses the path; the burn is stopped by hand.

Pour

The slabs are set in a form and the river is poured between them.

Finish

Flattened, edged and flood-coated so the burn lines sit under glass.
